# Credits and billing

- Prepaid USD credit, $5 minimum per purchase, through Stripe Checkout. No subscription. Credit appears after payment confirmation.
- All account API keys share one balance.
- Rates depend on workspace configuration. Live per-model prices: https://zrouter.si/pricing and [/capabilities.json](/capabilities.json).
- Each request reserves credit first, then settles the actual metered charge (see [Errors and limits](/docs/errors.md)).
- The ledger (dashboard, or MCP `credit_ledger`) is the record of balance changes. Usage charts show estimates that can differ.
- Resetting a budget or rate limit does not refund charges. There is no self-service refund flow.
